tryholo.ai vs Vidscape: which fits mobile game ads?
Holo just raised €5M to put small-business marketing on autopilot. A game studio's ad problem is a different one. A fair comparison of inputs, editing, video, pricing and who should pick which.

If you market a mobile game, Holo isn't built for your ads, and Vidscape is. Holo (tryholo.ai), the Vilnius-based marketing tool, turns a small business's website into ads, social posts, emails and blog posts, then runs them on autopilot. Vidscape turns a game's art into ad creatives and variations, and its static and motion ads arrive in layers you can change. Holo is the better pick if you need a whole marketing department in one subscription. Vidscape is the better pick if game ad production is your bottleneck.
Holo has momentum. On 15 October 2026 it announced a €5M seed round, $5M in annual recurring revenue within 252 days and more than 20,000 paying businesses (Tech.eu). So it's fair to ask whether it can make a studio's ads too.
We make Vidscape, so weigh that. This comparison is research-only: we read Holo's site, docs, pricing page and reviews on 22 October 2026, re-checked its prices and channels on 31 October, and didn't buy a plan.

What Holo does well#
Holo is a broad, well-liked tool for businesses without a marketing team. You enter your website. Holo builds what it calls a Brand DNA, writes an audit and a strategy, and fills a calendar with drafts you approve on your phone (Holo).
The ad tools go well beyond images. You can generate an image from a reference picture and a prompt, turn a product page into an ad, make a video, or have an AI actor read your script (Holo docs). It can clone a competitor's ad for your brand and translate work into 99+ languages. Its docs list 12 channels, from Instagram and TikTok to WordPress and Shopify (Holo docs), and its homepage now claims 1,000+ connections (Holo). With admin rights it can analyse and manage a Meta ad account (Holo docs).
Customers mostly like it. On 22 October 2026, Trustpilot showed 4.4 out of 5 from 1,186 reviews, and 89% of them gave 4 or 5 stars (Trustpilot). The praise is about setup speed, time saved and value. The complaints cluster around 2 things: credits running out fast on the lower plan, and output that can look generic. For a small brand that posts every day, that trade is often worth it.
Where a game studio's ad needs differ#
A game studio needs a lot of ads, in the game's look, and the ability to change one part without starting over. Holo's design choices make sense for a bakery or a skincare brand. Each one costs something when the product is a game.
Volume and controlled variation#
Game advertisers refresh creative constantly. 82.5% of game advertisers active in a given month of 2025 released new creatives that month (SocialPeta × Singular × Aarki). Top gaming advertisers produce 2,400 to 2,600 variations a quarter (AppsFlyer). And a few winners carry the budget: in gaming, the top 2% of creatives take 53% of video ad spend (AppsFlyer).
That last number is why a UA team wants controlled variations, not more random ones. When a concept wins, you want it with a new hook, a new character or a new button, and nothing else changed, so the test tells you something. Holo can generate variations of an ad. What its docs don't describe, as of 22 October 2026, is a way to hold everything else in an ad fixed while you change one element.
Built from your game, not from a website#
Holo builds ads from a website, a product page or a reference image plus a prompt (Holo docs). That works when the product is a jar or a jacket. A game's look lives in its characters, symbols and backgrounds, and a store listing isn't a website. We found no mention of games, apps, app installs or store listings on Holo's homepage, ad pages, docs index or recent blog posts (checked 22 October 2026).
Vidscape starts from the game. Paste your store link and it reads the characters, backgrounds, props and logo in the listing. It shows you what it found before building anything, so you can untick art it shouldn't use. Every ad in a round, up to 14 at a time, is drawn from those same references, and the logo is the game's own, so the round looks like one game. The name and rating on a store badge come from the listing rather than from a model, and you check them before export. We wrote up why that matters in why AI game ads look generated.

Editing: chat versus layers#
Holo edits an ad through chat requests. Vidscape edits it layer by layer. That is the clearest difference between them.
In Holo, you type "Change the background to a beach" or "Make the headline more playful", and "Holo will interpret your request and apply the edits automatically" (Holo docs). Its homepage says you can approve, edit or regenerate with one click. We found no layer editor and no layered file export in its documentation. Unite.AI's affiliate review lists "no fully editable design files" as a con. Its reviewer fixed one wrong effect in a video only by regenerating the whole video (Unite.AI).
Chat editing is quick for broad changes. Exact fixes are harder to ask for: the store rating must read 4.7, the button must be your brand orange, the logo must sit in the safe zone of a 9:16 story. Holo's docs don't say whether a chat edit keeps the rest of the ad fixed, so you check the whole ad after each one.
A Vidscape ad is built in layers. The headline is live text. The character, drawn from the game's own art, and the background are separate layers, and the button is a styled element.

Wrong headline? Rewrite it. Wrong character? Swap it. Wrong colour? Change it. You do it in an editor, the way a designer would, and nothing else in the ad moves. Then you export the ad as a PNG, as an MP4 motion-graphic ad, or as a layered Photoshop file for your artists. If you're producing sizes per network, our guide to mobile game ad sizes covers why recomposing beats cropping.
Where Holo is the better pick#
Holo wins when you need everything around the ad, and Vidscape doesn't pretend otherwise.
- You need social, email and SEO in one place. Holo writes posts, emails and blog articles, and schedules them. Vidscape makes game ads, and doesn't publish or schedule them.
- You want an AI actor talking to camera. Holo has AI UGC actors. Vidscape doesn't make avatar videos. Its motion-graphic ads come from the same layers as the stills, and video ads from generated footage are a growing output.
- You run campaigns in many languages. Holo translates into 99+ languages. Vidscape doesn't translate.
- You want the ad account handled. Holo can manage a Meta ad account. Vidscape stops at the creative and leaves media buying to you.
- You don't market a game. Vidscape is for mobile games only, on purpose.
Pricing and how to try each#
Holo publishes 2 plans. Monthly list prices on 31 October 2026 were $48 for Starter (125 creations) and $98 for Scale (325 creations). A "Black Friday" banner showed both at 60% off, $19.20 and $39.20, with lower per-month prices on 6-month billing (Holo pricing). A countdown promotion was running, so check the page.
A creation is 2 credits, which buys one image, post, email or blog. Video costs about 17 credits per 10 seconds (Holo docs). There's no free trial. Refunds are possible within 7 days only if you haven't used any credits from that payment, minus a 5% fee (Holo refund policy).
Vidscape plans are a monthly allotment of credits too, and each plan card shows roughly how many ads it buys (Vidscape pricing). The difference that matters before you pay: the scan of your store link is free and needs no account, and you see the art and store facts it read. A free account adds 30 credits, about 3 social posts.
Who should choose what#
A UA or growth lead at a game studio: choose Vidscape. You need variations you can control, built from the game's art, in square, story and carousel.
A creative director or marketing artist: choose Vidscape. Layers and a Photoshop export keep the art direction with your team.
A small brand or business outside games: choose Holo. One subscription covers ads, posts, emails and blog, with publishing built in.
A studio that also wants AI-actor videos: use both, for different jobs. Make the game-art ads in Vidscape, and use Holo or a UGC tool for actor videos.
Is Holo good for mobile game ads?
It isn't built for them. We found no mention of games, app installs or store listings in Holo's site or docs (22 October 2026), and its ads start from a website or a product page. It can make a social ad for a game, but it hands back one finished image rather than separate layers built from the game's art.
Can you edit Holo ads after they're generated?
Yes, by asking. Holo's docs describe chat edits, such as changing the background or the headline, plus one-click regeneration. We found no layer editor or layered file export in its documentation.
Does Holo have a free trial?
No. Holo's pricing page says there's no trial on purpose, and refunds apply only if you haven't used that payment's credits. Vidscape's store-link scan is free and needs no account, and ads need a free account.
What's a good tryholo.ai alternative for mobile game ads?
Vidscape, if you market a mobile game. It takes your App Store or Google Play link, draws its ads from the game's art and hands them back in layers you can change, in 1:1, 9:16 and carousel. If you market a general brand from a website, Holo may be the better fit.
How much does Holo cost?
On 31 October 2026, Holo listed Starter at $48 a month (125 creations) and Scale at $98 (325), with a 60% promotion on both. An image, post, email or blog costs 2 credits, and video about 17 credits per 10 seconds.
Can I use Holo and Vidscape together?
Yes. Some studios will want Holo's social scheduling, emails or AI-actor videos alongside game ads built in Vidscape. They don't share files, so you'd export from one and upload to the other.
