THE COMPARISON
AI-generated ads for mobile games: re-prompt the picture, or edit the layers.
A studio that needs dozens of new creatives a month has two ways to get them today: an AI ad generator, or designers and an agency. Vidscape is a third — up to 14 ads a round, drawn from the game's art, every one in pieces you can change. Here is how the three compare, fairly.
- vs. AI ad generators: drawn from your game's art, in layers you edit by hand
- vs. manual production: a round of ads from a store link, never a blank page
- vs. both: you control the result — every ad arrives in pieces

Three ways to get a month of game ads
AI ad generators such as Arcads, Creatify and AdCreative.ai make image or video ads for social, which is our channel. They are fast, and most of them now let you change a generated ad by prompting or in their own editor. We didn't find layered files documented for these three, as of 31 October 2026. Manual production — in-house designers plus an agency — is the real incumbent: more hands on every ad, and a blank page every time.
Vidscape works differently from both. It reads the game's store listing and draws each ad from the art it finds, with that art as the reference: up to 14 ads a round, each a different angle, in square, story and carousel formats. And every ad arrives in layers: rewrite the headline, swap the character, recolour the button, ship it.
Where the three differ
Volume: a round at a time
Up to 14 ads a round, each a different angle, all in the game's style, and as many rounds as your credits buy.
Style: drawn from your art
Characters are drawn from your game's art, with your art as the reference. The logo is your own, and you can use an upload unchanged.
Control: pieces, not a picture
Most generators now let you change an ad by prompting or in their own editor. A Vidscape ad is text, pieces and styles — change one thing by hand and ship it.
Speed: no brief, no wait
An agency round is a brief, a wait and a revision cycle. A Vidscape round starts from a store link, and the next round starts from the art it already read.
A supply, not a delivery
Creative wears out, so ads are a stream rather than a delivery. Vidscape is built for the stream: a new round whenever you need one, from art it read once.
What a Vidscape batch produces
Real output from one store listing — Rooms & Exits — with no other input: image ads, video ads and the editor recording that shows an ad in pieces.

Switching is pasting a link
Paste your store link
Your App Store or Google Play page. No brief, no upload required — though you can add art.
Check the art
The characters, backgrounds, props and logo it found are shown first. Untick anything it shouldn't use.
Get the round
With a free account, up to 14 ads in your game's style, in square, story and carousel formats.
Adjust and ship
Rewrite, swap, recolour. Export. Compare it with what you're paying for today.
What do AI ad generators do well?
Plenty. They are quick, the cost of one image or clip is low and falling, and several of them make actor-led video that a mobile game studio couldn't otherwise afford per test. If you need one good ad for one campaign, they are a fine choice.
The difference is what you get back. Most of these tools now let you change a generated ad by prompting or in their own editor. We didn't find layered files documented for Arcads, Creatify or AdCreative.ai, as of 31 October 2026. A Vidscape ad arrives in layers, drawn from the game's art, so a wrong word is a text edit.
When is an agency still the right call?
For the things that need new footage and a director: a story-driven hero trailer, a brand campaign, live-action creative. The cost is justified when the piece is singular. It stops being justified for the weekly stream of testing creatives — dozens of variations a month — which is the job Vidscape is built for.
How is Vidscape priced?
As monthly plans, each shown as roughly how many ads it buys a month, because nobody knows what a credit is worth.
Is this fair to the other tools?
We've tried to be. The generators listed make ads for social and do it well; the description above is of how you change their output, not of their quality. Agencies make things Vidscape doesn't. The comparison is about one job — on-style, editable creatives every month for a mobile game — and that is the job we'd ask you to test us on.

Those tools make image or video ads for social, and most now let you change a generated ad by prompting or in their own editor. We didn't find layered files documented for them, as of 31 October 2026. Vidscape makes up to 14 ads a round from a game's art, and every ad arrives in layers your team can change by hand.
Those are excellent general design tools, with more AI in them every year. Canva, for one, can split a flat image into layers and generate on-brand designs from a prompt. We didn't see it read a store listing or plan a round of game ads, as of 31 October 2026. Vidscape starts from the game's art, does the production pass — concepts, layouts, variations — and hands every ad back in layers your team finishes like any other design.
The blank page. Manual production starts from scratch each time. A Vidscape round starts from a store link, and the next round reuses the art it already read. Agencies still make things Vidscape doesn't, such as live-action creative.
Yes, framed honestly: turn motion on for any post to get a motion-graphic ad from its layers, and video ads from generated footage are a growing output. The video ads on this page are real ones made from the Rooms & Exits listing.
No — mobile game studios. They need the volume, they already own the art, and they measure cost per install per creative.
