VIDEO ADS

A scripted video ad from any ad you already like.

Pick a finished ad and a length of 20, 25 or 30 seconds. Vidscape writes a script you can edit, draws a still for each scene and cuts them together with your text and art. Every scene stays editable.

  • 20, 25 or 30 seconds, in several scenes, 9:16 by default
  • Edit the script before anything is made
  • Every scene opens in a video editor with a timeline

A 5-second animated ad made with an earlier version of Vidscape from a public store listing. A scripted video runs longer, in several scenes. The game is an example, not a customer.

What this is, and what it isn't

A scripted ad video starts from an ad you've already made. Vidscape reads that ad and your listing, then writes a short script: a concept, a tone, scenes with their timings and a closing call to action. You read it, change what you want, and only then does it build.

For each scene it draws a full-screen still, with your screenshots and icon as the reference. It adds the scene's text and your art, moves the camera over the still and cuts the scenes together. That's all it is: generated stills, animated and cut together. It isn't generated footage. Scene ads with generated footage and clips from a still aren't available on game projects.

What you can change

The script, first

The concept, the scenes, the on-screen text and the timings are plain text. Rewrite any of it before a single scene is drawn.

Every scene, after

The video opens in an editor with a timeline. Each scene's text, pictures and timing stay separate, so a wrong line is a quick fix.

The length

Choose 20, 25 or 30 seconds before the script is written. The scenes are planned to fit.

2

3

4

Change scenes and export

Open it in the video editor, change what you want, and export MP4.

Does it have sound?

No. A scripted ad video comes without a voiceover or music, so add your sound after you export.

What stays fixed?

The still behind a scene is one picture, so a different background means replacing it. The text, the timing and whatever sits on top of it stay separate.

When is a moving ad the better choice?

A motion-graphic ad keeps one layout and makes it move. Use it when the concept already works as a static and you just want it moving. A scripted video is for when the idea needs several beats and a closing call to action.
